The Board has also appointed Senior Vice President, Commercial Business Mr. Mohammed Yahya Al Shehri, as Acting CEO upon receiving the “no-objection” statement from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). Mr. Al Shehri will take on these duties as of January 1, 2023. Mr. Mohammad Al-Shehri has over than 19 years of experience in the fields of insurance, traffic safety, commercial business and corporate strategies. Al-Shehri also holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration and several professional and specialized certificates. The latest rollout confirms Najm’s commitment to scale up its offerings and enhance the reliability of its field operations. Najm is the first insurance services provider to offer this service in Saudi Arabia and the region. The body cam technology is an ideal solution for documenting traffic accidents that enables Liability Determination (LD) specialists to videotape and record the accident investigation process. The service guarantees the validity of the recording as it does not allow for any tampering with the footage, which ultimately enhances the accuracy of the LD process and ensures that the rights of all parties involved are protected. The company has achieved a 17-minute average response time for all traffic accidents around the clock, thereby ensuring the highest levels of traffic safety for nearly one million pilgrims. Commenting on this remarkable milestone, Najm CEO Dr. Mohammad AlSuliman stated “We are grateful for the successful conclusion of Hajj season which features our company’s cutting-edge IT capabilities and expertise. In fact, today’s announcement was the result of the outstanding efforts of our teams who completed their field duty in serving the pilgrims with great professionalism, in collaboration with the concerned official authorities. Our team of administrative and field personnel in the accidents division in the holy sites and ports have demonstrated unwavering efforts and effectively contributed to serving pilgrims from the moment they arrive at the Kingdom until their departure.” Najm continues to deliver industry-leading services for Hajj season as it has previously equipped a fleet of around 70 vehicles and motorcycles to serve the pilgrims in the holy sites in the areas of Mina, Muzdalifah, Arafa, and the central area in the Great Mosque of Makkah, aiming to reach the accident site in a very short time after receiving the report.
