Extending its congratulations to the Kingdom’s leadership on a successful Hajj season
Najm announces concluding its operations for the Hajj 2019 (1440 H) season with top traffic safety results
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, 22nd August 2019:
Najm for Insurance Services extended its congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on accomplishing a successful Hajj Season this year.
Furthermore, Dr. Al Sulaiman reiterated Najm’s pride in contributing towards successful Hajj operations this year through offering all its capabilities and resources to ensure the highest possible level of traffic safety during peak seasons of the pilgrimage. He added that such efforts stem from the religious and national commitments of Najm’s employees and their dedication to provide a favorable environment that allows for a smooth and safe Hajj.
Moreover, he added that this year’s Hajj season had witnessed outstanding results thanks to
the rapid response to accident reports and a robust and organized work plan executed in cooperation with relevant entities, supported by the latest technologies, and done by qualified cadres and professionals from Najm who executed the operational plan at the highest standards.
Najm for Insurance Services had concluded its operations for the 2019 Hajj season by providing top traffic safety services that contributed towards ensuring smooth traffic activity during the transportation of pilgrims between various pilgrimage sites and Makkah. This was done through adopting a joint plan in cooperation with the General Authority for
Traffic and the Roads Security Special Forces to ensure maximum levels of road safety for pilgrims, by preparing a fully-equipped operations rooms featuring comprehensive systems and applications that support employees and facilitate the follow-up of accident reports and the sharing of accident location coordinates in Makkah’s holy sites and the external roads connecting it with the cities of Jeddah and Madinah.
The traffic plan was executed in cooperation with the General Authority of Traffic in Makkah where a number of motorcycles were deployed to ensure the swift response to accident reports in spite of heavy traffic during the movement of pilgrims between various sites and the central area of the Holy Mosque.
Moreover, more than 100 employees from Najm participated in field and management operations around the clock and throughout the Hajj season starting from the 3rd till the 16th of August 2019 in aims to serve pilgrims alongside around 50 motorcycles specifically deployed to facilitate traffic in holy sites.
